Santa Barbara High boys basketball team celebrates winning the Simi Valley Tournament title.

Santa Barbara High roared out to a big lead in the first quarter and held off host Simi Valley, 67-59, to win the championship of the Simi Valley Tournament for the first time in 23 years.

Nick Busch scored 20 points and Bolden Brace dropped in 19 to lead the Dons (6-1). Brace was named the tournament MVP and Busch was chosen to the all-tournament team.

Ben Brown scored nine points and Ben Clay made some key plays defensively and grabbed big rebounds.
