Dos Pueblos’ defense did a good job of containing St. Bonaventure on Wednesday night and the Chargers cashed in a 42-32 non-league decision over the Seraphs.
St. Bonaventure managed to score only 11 first-half points against the Chargers, who never trailed in the second half.
Diego Riker led Dos Pueblos in scoring with 10 points. Three teammates – Marcellous Gossett, Mounir Mani and Jayson Williams – added six points each. Gossett came alive in the second half providing a boost on both ends of the floor.
Dos Pueblos improves to 3-2 on the season and faces Sylmar in its next game on Friday.
