The third quarter was Bishop Diego’s downfall on Thursday in a 70-42 loss to Arroyo Grande.
The teams were tied at the halftime break, then AG outscored the Cardinals 23-6 in the third quarter on the way to a 28-point decision.
Bishop Diego sophomore Dylan Streett connected on three 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 15 points. Classmate Will Goodwin added 11 points.
The Cardinals (0-4) play again on Saturday at Righetti.
