San Marcos and Dos Pueblos met on Tuesday night to close out the Channel League season and San Marcos walked away with a 25-17, 23-25, 25-18, 25-15 victory to clinch a share of the Channel League title with Ventura.
The Royals and Cougars finished with 7-1 records.
On Wednesday, San Marcos won a coin-flip to be the No. 1 seed from the league for the CIF Division 1A playoffs. The playoff pairings will be released on Friday afternoon.
Chloe Allen’s 19 kills were a team high while Kamille Williams put away 12. Williams equaled setter Gabi Peoples for the team-high in blocks with 2.5. Allen’s 13 digs were a team high in that category as well.
