Cate’s cross country team used the Lake Casitas Twilight Invitational on Wednesday as a tune-up for Saturday’s Clovis Invitational.
The boys and girls teams ran together for the first two miles before letting go some down the stretch. Junior Henry Walsh finished 75th overall with a time of 19:48 as the Rams’ top male. Sophomore Isabel Sorensen led the girls team with a time of 23:34 (60th).
Cate’s boys were 13th in the team standings while the girls finished 10th.
