“We had a great win in the morning over Long Beach after being up 7-2 at half,” said coach Chuckie Roth. “It was a real learning experience for our young team. I was proud of our first-half play and the last four minutes of the game.”
The Vaqueros will host Cuesta in a WSC battle on Wednesday at San Marcos High, starting at 5:20 p.m. L.A. Valley leads the conference at 3-0, followed by Cuesta (3-1), SBCC (2-1), Ventura (2-1) and Citrus (2-1).
