SBCC’s scoring drought continued on Tuesday in a 3-0 women’s soccer loss at first-place Moorpark.
The defending WSC North champion Vaqueros (5-3-3, 0-1-2) have opened conference with three straight scoreless games and haven’t scored a goal in 297 minutes. The Raiders (5-1-5, 3-0-1) scored in the eighth, 40th and 47th minutes. The last goal came on a penalty kick.
“That third goal made things tough for us,” said coach John Sisterson. “We craame alive in the last 10 minutes and really started knocking the ball around the field.”
Moorpark outshot the visitors 11-2 and had six shots on-goal compared to none for the Vaqueros.
