The Dos Pueblos seniors took care of business in their final league home volleyball match on Thursday.
Led by Karissa Mertens’ double-double of 13 kills and 15 digs, the Chargers defeated Buena, 25-13, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, in a Channel League match. It was their second win in league play.
The seniors did everything they could to win on their special night. Ali Milam had seven kills and seven digs, Maddie Minier added five kills and nine digs and libero Cat Hogan picked up 25 digs.
Dos Pueblos is back in action on Friday at home against Cate, the No. 1-ranked team in CIF Division 4A.
