Cate won its fifth volleyball match in a row, sweeping Santa Paula, 25-6, 25-9, 25-17 in a Frontier League match on Thursday at home.
“We’ve been working hard and pressuring ourselves in new positions and lineups,” said coach Greg Novak.
Delaney Mayfield and Peyton Shelburne led the team with 8 kills apiece and Gillian Rogers followed up with 4 kills.
“Olivia Siemmens did a good job helping out on defense,” Novak said. “As always, setters Haile Straathof and Hannah Barr did a good gob distributing the ball, especially to the middles.”
The Rams are at Foothill Tech on Tuesday.
