Katie McGee served as the catalyst for the Carpinteria girls volleyball team as it cruised to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-14 victory over Fillmore at home on Tuesday.
McGee finished with 19 assists accompanied by 12 aces and Corina Porter was on the receiving end of a lot of them, knocking down nine kills to go along with four digs. Miranda Marquez put on an impressive defensive performance, digging up 17 balls from the libber position.
The Warriors improve to 2-5 overall, 1-4 and are set to face Cate on Thursday.
