The Wildcats, who were celebrating Senior Night, had the edge on their home floor in the fifth set.
Talia Medel, a freshman outside hitter, led the Cardinals in kills and aces in the match. Evie Coronado finished with a hitting percentage of .500 and was a strong blocking presence throughout the match according to Bishop Diego head coach John Sener.
Bishop Diego settter Celeste Cardenas orchestrated the attack and collected 26 assists.
Bishop plays again next Thursday versus Grace Brethren.
