Bishop Diego volleyball coach John Sener said his team played its two best matches of the season, but the Cardinals couldn’t close them out and lost to Grace Brethren, 25-22, 25-23, 25-11, in a Frontier League match on Thursday.
Lexi Parker played well for Bishop, said Sener. Setter Celeste Cardenas dished out 29 assists.
The Cardinals play La Reina next Thursday.
