Santa Barbara High swept 9-0 in doubles to slip past Buena, 12-6, in a Channel League girls tennis match on Thursday.
The Dons team of Eva Kershner and Alexia Berton lost only four games on the day.
In singles, Cade Sorenson battled Buena’s Colby Shea Emmory for over an hour before falling 7-6. Sorenson, Natasha Fleisher and Claire Stotts all went 1-2 in singles.
“We look forward to next week,” said Santa Barbara coach Sally Becker. “It’s a big week for us with San Marcos and DP both at our courts.”
