The Tri-Valley League Girls Golf Championship was decided on Wednesday on the Vineyard Course at River Ridge in Oxnard. Bishop Diego’s Sienna Scibird placed second to qualify for next week’s CIF Individuals.
Scibird shot a 2-over 74 on Wednesday after an opening 9-hole score of 37 on Tuesday. Besting her was La Reina’s Haylee McGovern, who finished with a four-under 68 on Wednesday. McGovern won the league individual title by nine strokes.
Scibird, McGovern and the top five qualify for CIF Individuals.
Carpinteria was led by Mikayla Blair in 8th place. Elizabeth Esquivel and Yarely Aviles were one stroke behind for top-10 results.
