Bishop Diego continues to hold its No. 9 position in the CIF Northern Division football poll.
The Cardinals (6-0) play their final pre-league game on Friday night at La Playa Stadium against undefeated Immanuel of Reedley, also 6-0. Reedley is No. 1 in the Division 5 of the Central Section.
Four county teams are in the Northern Division top 10. Lompoc leads the way at No. 3 followed by St. Joseph at No. 6 and Santa Ynez at No. 10. All three teams are in the Los Padres League.
In 8-man football, Cate leaped over Thacher in the Division 1 poll. Cate is third, Thacher fourth and Laguna Blanca fifth.
