Ally Garza and William Walter were Santa Barbara High’s fastest runners at the Gold Coast Invitational on Friday afternoon at College Park in Oxnard.
Garza, a freshman, finished 16th overall in a time of 20 minutes and 23 seconds. Walter came in 21st in the boys race with a time of 16:41.
Teammates Miranda Bartell (36-21:47.80), Ally Murphy (40-22:07.27), Izzy Garza (41-22:12.06, and Nicole Figueroa (44-22:23.02) grouped together to finish the scoring.
Jared Levy was 37th (17:28.37) and Thomas Everest was 39th for the boys team (17:30.57).
