The UCSB women’s volleyball team makes its home debut this weekend with a four-team tournament.
The Gauchos host UCLA, SMU and University of San Diego for three days of matches at the Thunderdome. UCLA is ranked No.17 in the nation and San Diego is No. 18. All three teams come in with 5-1 records. UCSB is 4-2.
UCSB opens the tournament Friday with a 7 p.m. match against SMU. UCLA and San Diego open the tourney at 4 p.m.
There’s a tripleheader on Saturday. San Diego and SMU start the day with an 11 a.m. match, UCSB and San Diego clash at 4 p.m., and UCLA plays SMU at 7 p.m.
The Gauchos and UCLA play the tourney finale on Sunday at 2 p.m.
An all-session tournament pass is $30 for adults and $20 for seniors, youth and military. Single-day tickets are $15 and $10.
