Despite an impressive performance by opposite Jessyca Beksa, the Santa Barbara girls volleyball team was unable to surpass a talented Harvard-Westlake on the road on Tuesday. The Dons lost in three sets with the scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-17.
Beksa knocked down 10 kills, while Linnea Skinner contributed 4 kills and 14 assists.
“We ran into a tough opponent and didn’t bring our A-game, we definitely could’ve used more focus,” said coach John Gannon.
The loss drops Santa Barbara to an even 2-2 record, and the Dons will go on to host Rio Mesa at J.R. Richards Gymnasium on Wednesday.
