Providence’s 31-29, 25-15, 25-17 non-league victory over Channel Islands on Thursday was the Patriots’ first in program history over the Raiders.

Goss called Kylie Brown the player of the match for leading a team effort defined by quality ball control and excellent team defense.
Keara Rutz’s 10 kills were a team high. Brown led the team with six digs. Katie Hodson had 6 kills and 2 blocks.
The Patriots are now 8-3-1 on the season.
