Santa Ynez was no match for Laguna Blanca’s girls volleyball team on Tuesday as the Owls clinched a 25-14, 25-21, 25-12 sweep over the Pirates.
Dani Abrams had 10 kills and hit .530 out of the middle. Phoebe Madsen had seven kills and hit .440. She also had 20 assists and seven digs.
“It was a good first match for us. We did some things really well but were also able to find some areas that need some more attention in practice,” said Owls head coach Jason Donnelly
Laguna Blanca faces Nordhoff on Thursday.
