The Tri-Valley League opener for Carpinteria went breezily on Thursday at the Warriors turned in a 15-3 defeat of Nordhoff.
Carpinteria didn’t lose a doubles set in the victory. The top two teams of Jeanette Fantone/Hali Schwasnick and Daryanna Lancet/Jessica Lord went 3-0.
Madison Cleek was 2-0, including a quality win over Nordhoff’s No. 1 singles player, before resting in the third round as every player on the Warriors team got to play.
Carpinteria (4-5, 1-0) faces Arroyo Grande on Friday in a non-league match.
