GTen: Royals win league opener

San Marcos began its Channel League season on Friday and got off to a good start with a 15-3 victory over Ventura.

The Royals swept all nine doubles sets and were led in singles by Yuka Perera.

San Marcos improves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in league play.
