The San Marcos girls tennis team went undefeated in the singles department on the day, and that proved to be the difference as the Royals beat Orcutt Academy 15-3 in a non-league matchup on Tuesday.
Kelly Coulson did not falter a single game at the No.1 singles spot while Maura Mannix and Minu Traufetter went 3-0 as well.
The doubles department was led by the power duo of Sarah Yang and Josephine Pulver who went undefeated on the day, allowing only 2 games to get away from them in the process.
San Marcos improves to 3-1 on the season and will hit the road on Friday as they will compete in Clovis for the California Classic tournament.
