Cade Sorensen won two sets for Santa Barbara High on Wednesday but the Dons dropped a 15-3 non-league decision to defending CIF Division-2 champion Valencia.
Eva Kershner and Alexia Berton teamed in doubles to win Santa Barbara’s other point outside of Sorensen’s two in singles. Brooke Morison and Hope Dalton nearly claimed another but fell in a close tiebreaker.
Santa Barbara returns to Channel League action on Thursday with a match at Buena.
