Two tiebreak victories helped Dos Pueblos stamp out Ventura 13-5 on Thursday in a Channel League match.
The tiebreaker results clinched an undefeated day in doubles for the Chargers. Siena Applebaum and Serina Applebaum won a tiebreaker and two more sets while Nandini Braganza and Rose Hillebrandt won their tiebreaker 7-5 and triumphed in another close set, 7-5. No. 1 doubles Saylor Yoos and Catherine Wang swept their three doubles sets 6-2,6-0,6-0.
Katie Yang was dominant in singles, taking three points 6-2, 6-0, 6-0.
The effort improves Dos Pueblos to 4-1 on the season. The Chargers host Santa Barbara on Monday in their next match.
