Dos Pueblos survived its second-straight close match on Friday, defeating Santa Ynez 10-8. It was an identical score to the Chargers’ win the day before.
The Chargers were balanced in singles and doubles, winning five sets on each side. Katie Yang and Saylor Yoos claimed two singles sets each while the doubles team of Heather Cano and Hannah Kleidermacher delivered three points with a three-set sweep. Dos Pueblos won close sets by Cano and Kleidermacher (7-5) and Rose Hillebrandt and Jenny Yang captured another set in a tiebreaker.
Dos Pueblos tookg 5 sets in Singles with both Katie Yang (6-1, 6-1) and Saylor Yoos(6-0, 6-4) winning two and KC Egger (6-0) winning one.
Dos Pueblos plays Carpinteria next on Tuesday, then Westlake on Wednesday before a weekend trip to the Clovis Classic in Fresno.
