Carpinteria scored a 258-292 victory over Santa Paula on Thursday in a round that saw eight players, four from each team, shoot career lows.
Among them were co-medalists Juliet Parsons and Elizabeth Esquivel. Their matching 47s led the Warriors. The biggest improvement was Santa Paula’s Lexi Ibarra who lowered her previous best by 12 strokes.
Yarely Aviles (52), Karina Lopez (54) and Amanda Blair (58) filled out the Warriors’ scoring.
Carpinteria, which edged Nordhoff on Wednesday 277-282, improves to 4-0. The Warriors will face La Reina, also undefeated, in their next match on Monday. It’s the beginning of a busy week with Foothill Tech and Fillmore also on the schedule later in the week.
