Bella Vigna carded a two-over 38 at Olivas Links on Thursday and the Dos Pueblos golf team gained a 196-297 Channel League victory over Buena.
The entire team turned in strong rounds as Julia Forster, Mika Henrickson and Gabby Minier were all one stroke behind Vigna. Megan Caird’s 41 completed the scoring.
Dos Pueblos coach Rob Schiff thought his team’s score was impressive considering Thursday’s pin placements were unusually difficult.
“I thought breaking 200 would be a good score that day based on just how brutal the pins were. I’ve never seen them like that.”
Dos Pueblos (6-1, 3-0) hosts San Marcos on Tuesday at Glen Annie.
