Dos Pueblos broke 200 for the second straight day on Thursday in a 197-278 non-league victory over Santa Ynez.
Bella Vigna led the team effort with an even-par 36. Julia Forster posted a 38 and Mika Henrickson a 39. Megan Caird and Hannah Cho’s 42s filled out the scorecard for the Chargers.
“Today was a win, win for us and Santa Ynez. We were able to pull out our first victory of the year and Santa Ynez was able to shoot their best team score in three years. That was a nice feat considering that Glen Annie can be a tough place to play for visiting teams,” said Chargers head coach Dan Choi.
Dos Pueblos evens its record at 1-1.
