Local triathlete Kyle Visin placed sixth in the men’s 30-34 age group in 1:58.58.
Gabriel, a member of the SBHS swim team, was the third fastest swimmer in his race, finishing in 18:43. Toland and Winslow overtook him on the bike leg. They posted the two fastest times, with Toland going 53:10 and Winslow 54:21. Gabriel’s time was 57:56.
Gabriel pushed hard on the run and recorded the fastest time of 39:03. But it wasn’t enough to overtake Toland and Winslow.
Visin completed the third fastest swim (20:03) in his age group. Group champion Adam Webber was first out of the water in 18:26 and kept the lead the rest of the way.
