Jordan Rico singled in Joe Talarico for the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning, lifting the Dos Pueblos Little League 10-under All-Stars to a 3-2 win over Santa Paula and a spot in the District 63 tournament championship game.
Dos Pueblos will play undefeated Goleta Valley South on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Foothill LL in Ventura.
After Santa Paula tied the score at 2-2 in the top of the sixth, DP loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the inning on a double by Talarico, a walk to Luke Varesio and a single by Ryan Speshyock. Rico ended the game with his single.
Talarico paced the offense, going 4-for-4, with a double and a RBI; Rico went 3-4, Kyle Spink went 2-2 with a double and RBI. Dylan Gesswein hit a clutch double in the fifth inning.
Speshyock struck out seven batters in 3.1 innings.
