Santa Barbara’s Laurel Kujan won her second youth beach volleyball tournament of the summer, combining with Piper Monk Heidrick to capture the Under-16 division title at the American Athletic Union (AAU) Marine Street Summer Series tournament in Manhattan Beach.
Kujan, a sophomore at Laguna Blanca, and Monk Heidrick, a sophomore at Mira Costa High, went undefeated on the day, including a 21-13 victory to cap the final match.
Last month, Kujan won a California Beach Volleyball Association youth tournament at State Beach.
