The Goleta Valley South Little League 11-under All Stars added a Section 1 title banner to their collection.
Chase Hoover did it all for the Goleta Valley South Little League 11-under All Stars on Monday night in the Section 1 championship game.
Hoover struck out seven in 4.1 innings and went 3-for-4 with four RBIs at the plate, leading GVS to a 6-3 title victory over Moorpark Little League.
Hoover had a single, double and home run. Trey Murray and Jake Rister each added two hits, and Rister and Gabe Martinez made some great defensive plays to seal the win.
GVS advances to the sub-regionals in Orange and plays the champion of Section 3.
