The District 63-champion Goleta Valley South Little League Junior Division All Stars won their opener in the Section Tournament, beating Conejo Valley 11-6 on Monday night.
Mason Boelter started the game on the mound and gave up only one run in 3 innings to get the win. Issac Villarreal pitched two shut-out innings of relief to preserve the victory.
Boelter, Andrew Aragon, Villarreal and Diego Sandoval each had two hits to lead the offense. Sandoval had a team-high 3 RBI.
Goleta Valley South play game 2 of their three-game section series on Wednesday.
