Middle blocker To’o To’o and outside hitter Sean Reynaert have been named to the first-team All-Western State Conference men’s volleyball team.
To’o, a 6-3 sophomore from San Lorenzo, hit .325 and ranked second in conference with 73 blocks. Reynaert, a 6-5 freshman from Roeselare, Belgium, averaged 2.34 kills per set and had the No. 5 hitting percentage (.261).
Casey Alper, a freshman libero, was a second-team choice. He was No. 2 in the WSC with 230 digs and a 3.19 average.
SBCC went 12-7 this year and took fourth in conference at 7-5. The 12 wins overall and seven in conference were the most in a decade.
Santa Monica, which won its first State title this year, got the Player of the Year (Luis Palos) and Coach of the Year (John Mayer).
