Dos Pueblos senior Veronika Gulvin has been placed on the All-CIF Division 4 First Team for softball.
Gulvin, who pitches and plays first base, helped lead the Chargers to the D4 CIF semifinals and a 26-5 record this spring. She’ll be playing at UCSB next year.
Gulvin had a win-loss record of 16-3 and struck out 206 batters, against only 14 walks, in 127 innings. Her opponents batted just .135 against year leading to an ERA of 0.66. As a hitter, she batted .388, with three homers and five doubles.
