Rachelle Visser won her second state title in two days on Friday, topping the field in the 400 IM on Day 2 of the CCCAA State Swim Championships at East L.A. College.
Visser, who won the 200 IM on Thursday, beat the field by more than 11 seconds and set a new state meet record with her 4:31.73 clocking. Katherine Warren was sixth in 4:48.30.
The Vaqueros took seventh in the 800 free relay and ninth in the 200 medley, missing school records by less than 0.24 seconds in both. Autumn Lovett led off the 800 free relay, followed by Ashley Macedo, Alaina Chela and Visser.
The Vaqueros, who won their first WSC title two weeks ago, have 144 points and remained in eighth place with one day to go in the State Championships. Santa Rosa is No. 1 with 336.5 points and Orange Coast is second at 279.5 in the 34-team field.
Chela was 10th in the 100 fly in 59.36 and Lovett finished 14th in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.43.
