Two of Bishop Diego’s three hits went for extra bases, but that was all the Cardinals could muster in a 4-2 Tri-Valley League loss to Grace Brethren on Friday.
RJ Cordeiro doubled and scored a run in the sixth inning. In the seventh, it was Dylan Street who doubled and drove home a run.
Will Goodwin pitched for Bishop Diego, scattering six hits and allowing two earned runs. Goodwin, a freshman, threw a complete game.
