San Marcos’ boys lacrosse team closed out its inaugural season playing in CIF with an 11-7 victory over Royal on Wednesday in Warkentin Stadium.
“The senior class rose to the occasion and with the rest of the team brought home a victory,” said head coach Rick Lehman.
Justin Lehman scored four goals and recorded four assists to lead San Marcos. Lehman, a freshman, finishes the season with 49 goals.
The San Marcos team had a great balance of players contributing offensively with Kelly McDonald scoring two goals, and Luke Polluck, Dylan Kaito, Jack Palmer, Liam Galant and Lucus McDonald all adding a goal each.
San Marcos ends its first CIF season with a 10-4 overall record.
