Freshman Justin Lehman poured in seven goals, leading San Marcos to an 11-7 boys lacrosse win over Santa Barbara High on Friday.
The Royals took an early lead and held off charges by Santa Barbara.
San Marcos coach Rick Lehman cited the defensive play of Kia Sanvictores, Dawson Dewan, Colin Welsh and Mac Merril, and goalkeepers Mason Little and Dakota Crowley.
The Royals play DP on Monday.
