Erica Schroeder ran a 2:14.38 800 meters and Adilene Aldapa took the distance double for San Marcos at the Arnie Robertson Invitational track and field meet in San Diego on Saturday.
Schroeder’s winning time ranks second in CIF-SS Division 3 behind her top mark of 2:14.06.
Aldapa ran the 1600 in 5:11.21 and captured the 3200 in 11:27. Devon Block-Funkhouser took second in the 300 hurdles in 46.48 and Allie Jones was runner-up in the 100 hurdles in 15.93.
For the San Marcos boys, Cameron Shinn won the long jump with a leap of 29-1 and finished second in the triple jump at 41-11.5. Tlaloc Vallejo was second in the shot put at 41-3.5.
The Royals return home on Wednesday for a Channel League dual meet against Dos Pueblos.
