Tatianna Schluep of Dos Pueblos took the lead with 200 meters to go and held off a charge by Tesoro’s Angelica Grady to come away the winner of the women’s open 800 at the Trabuco Hills Distance Carnival on Friday night in Orange County.
Christina Rice made a late rush down the home stretch to capture third place in 2:25.62.
