UC Davis took the series sweep, as UC Santa Barbara left 11 runners on base in the 6-1 Big West softball loss on Sunday.

Kristen Clark had a fine day at the plate in leading the Gauchos (15-30, 2-10) with two hits (2-3) and a walk. MeShalon Moore supplied the team with its one run with a double in the bottom of the seventh.
Lena Mayer (4-7) received the loss after UC Davis (17-22, 5-7) scored three runs (two earned) in her one and one-third innings of work. Ashley Ludlow entered the game with one out in the top of the second and never left, as she finished with five hits, three runs (two earned, and a pair of strikeouts.
