The San Marcos boys lacrosse team defeated Dunn 15-4 on Thursday afternoon.
“Toady, our team started strong and never looked back,” said Royals head coach Rick Lehman.
San Marcos was led by two freshman, Luke Polluck and Justin Lehman, who each recorded hat tricks and two assists. Issac Oh and Trey Tank had two goals each apiece. Liam Gallant, Jack Palmer, and Taylor Dixon also contributed with multiple scores for the Royals.
Goalkeeper Mason Little had another solid performance while holding the Earwigs to only four scores.
This was a huge win for a San Marcos team that has lost its past few games. The game also marked the rematch of a classic battle between the two squads earlier this season. The Royals claimed a 14-13 overtime victory in that one.
San Marcos matches up versus Simi Valley next week.
