The Dos Pueblos girls lacrosse team edged past Santa Barbara in double overtime during an exciting Channel League matchup on Tuesday night at Scott O’Leary Stadium. The Chargers defeated the Dons by a score of 13-12 in a hotly contested battle.
With only two minutes remaining in the final period, Dos Pueblos held a 12-9 advantage before Santa Barbara’s Mia Barton scored three consecutive goals to push the game into overtime.
The Dons were led by an outstanding performance from Barton, who scored six goals on the evening.
