San Marcos swept past Buena in straight sets during a Channel League boys volleyball matchup on Tuesday evening. The Royals defeated the Bulldogs by a score of 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.
Ian McLain and Ben Hauschild led the team with eight kills apiece. Diego Almanza had five solo blocks and Jacob Beifuss had four service aces for San Marcos.
With the victory, the Royals improve to 4-2 in Channel League. They head on the road to face Dos Pueblos next Tuesday.
