Led by another flawless performance from Spencer Ekola, the Bishop Diego boys tennis team surpassed Santa Clara in a 15-3 decision on Tuesday.
Ekola swept at three of his sets at the No. 1 singles berth, not dropping a single game in doing so. Ekola improved his undefeated season record to 24-0. Mikey Kelly also went 3-0 on the day while CHristian Vasquez tacked on two wins for the Cardinals.
In the doubles department, the power duo of Jake Stratford-Jones and Cameron Roberts went undefeated on the day while the combination of Cameron Krul and Jonathon Lindsay dropped only one of their three sets on the day.
The Cardinals improve to 5-5 overall, 3-1 in league and are set to face of against Villanova next Thursday at the Municipal tennis courts.
