Santa Barbara High’s Natasha Feshbach won the long jump at the Don Green Invitational track and field meet at Moorpark on Saturday.
Feshbach, a standout multi-events athlete, recorded a winning jump of 17-9 ¼. She also finished fourth in the high jump at 4-10.
Other Dons to place included Andrew Weisman and Fabrice Tay in the triple jump. Weisman was third with a personal best of 40-8, while Tay went 40-3 in his first time competing in the event. That was good for fourth.
Erica Schroeder, the defending CIF Division 3 champion in the 800, won the mile (5:06.56) and 800 (2:14.91) in personal bests. She ran on the frosh/soph division, but ran the fastest times of the day in both events. Schroeder is the state leader in the 800.
Cameron Shinn of San Marcos took second in the triple jump at 41-06. Veronica Toral was second in the shot put with a personal best of 35-03. In the pole vault, Matthew Turk cleared 13-6 to take third place. Kele Mkpado came in third in the 100 hurdles in 16.12 and Devon Block-Funkhouser finished third in the girls 100 hurdles with a time of 16.67. Also for the Royals, Adilene Aldapa took fourth in the 1600 in 5:16.62 and was second in the 3200 in 11:40.85
Daniel Nofrey of Dos Pueblos won the boys high jump at 6-3. Carmen Villarruel of the Chargers finished in a three-way tie for first place in the girls pole vault at 10 feet. Ella Stimson was fifth at 9-0. In the girls triple jump, Sofia Janotti was second at 33-02.
