Dos Pueblos dropped a Channel League dual meet against Ventura on Thursday afternoon.
“All 4 levels lost to Ventura today,” said Dos Pubelos head coach Chris Mollkoy. Overall, it was a tough day all around.”
The Cougars won both the girls (101-25) and the boys competitions (106-21).
Dos Pueblos was led by Josh Fry, who won the 110 high hurdles (16:55) and pole vault competition with a jump of 13-6. Blayke Harrison won both the 100 (11.41) and 200 (23.26).
On the girls side, Kaylia Grant won the 300 hurdles with a personal record time of 48.35. Christina Rice won the 3200 (11:22.34) while Carmen Villarruel won the pole vault competition with a jump of 10-0. In the long jump, Sophia Janotti won with a jump of 15-10.25.
