Runs were not scarce in Tuesday’s non-league matchup between Viewpoint and Bishop Diego. The host Cardinals came away with more in a 13-10 victory.
Bishop Diego scored in every inning but the bottom of the sixth inning while leading 13-8.
“We had players playing positions they haven’t played before, and some playing with injuries,” reported Cardinals head coach John Ceriale. “We have been stressing effort and playing as a team, and that is exactly what we saw. It was a great team win for us, as everyone contributed.”
